House Rules

Relax and treat our home like your home. We can’t wait to host you! Here are a few things to note.

To keep peace in the neighborhood - Violating house rules results in a $500 fee. Unauthorized parties are not allowed. If you are going to have people over please inform us in advance so we can make arrangements.

**please remember Quiet hours 12am to 8am. Voices do carry across the lake.

Please inform us of animals as our regular cleaners is allergic and we must arrange another.
Pet fee required. Unauthorized pets $200.

$200 fine for indoor smoking and unreported pets.
Please Smoke outside only.
Please take Shoes off in house
Please Relax and enjoy.


We have the right to ask for a deposit if you have bad reviews or no reviews.





Please do not use bath towels outside there are beach towels.
We are not responsible for accidents. Pls watch your children and do not throw rocks in lake.

We ask you put used towels in tub and shower. Load dishwasher and take out trash. Lock doors and windows and turn off lights. Check for any belongings.


Our House cleaned and disinfected after each guest by professional cleaners and a linen company.

We live in this home as well when not renting and want it to be safe for our family just as much as your family.


We ask that you Please do not flush anything but toilet paper. We have a grinder pump.

The space
This is a home split into two sides this listing is for Side A is 3/2 with 2 Large decks with two sliders and Front door entrance. (Side B is 1/1 with a separate outdoor side entrance and separate fenced deck which affords privacy. You may hear some noise. Outdoor areas are shared.) Side B is a Separate listing.) There is the option to rent both sides. Please inquire. Garage not included. Side A is not accessible to side B and vice versa without both keys for safety and comfort of guests. We allow up to 6 cars. If you have more please let us know so we can make arrangements. Parking on street after 12am will get you ticketed. We allow day events such as prom send off, baby showers, wedding showers, rehearsals dinners, etc. Perfect for bridal party that needs a space to get ready. Pets allowed for fee. Please let us know about any animals as we need to send another cleaner as our reg one is very allergic.

Additional notes
Please note checkin times may vary due to cleaning. We do our best to accommodate a 3pm check in but might be later on some days. We provide you with a starter pack for cleaning supplies and paper goods enough for a few days. If you are staying longer it’s up to you to replenish. Easy train ride to city from Westmont or Hinsdale station. Able to Uber to train station or park there for reasonable amount. Bridal showers, rehearsals dinners, prom send offs, intimate family get togethers, etc. Two twin rollaways available. A pullout queen sofa in living area. Please let us know if you need these so we can have linens available. We must say the following about deposits since it connected to our direct site and channel manager. If you are booking on Airbnb we will let you know if you need a deposit. “There is a Authorization deposit of $1000 that is refunded automatically within 5 days after check-out!” This property has exterior cameras only. No interior camera inside the property.
Guest interaction
Interaction is kept a minimum. We are available if you need us and have a 100% response rate. Anything you need we can usually accommodate and if not we figure out how we can. We want your stay to be wonderful. Please keep noise level down for neighbors. Be aware voices carry across the lake. We sometimes stay next door or have someone nearby who can assist if need arises. We have property manager when we are away.

Getting around
Park in driveway on left. Can park on street but not overnight. Uber/Lyft is available here. Metra Train or Forest Park Blue line to city 15 min drive.
